Electric installation meets automation technology

The borders between classical domestic and building services engineering on the one hand and automation (including industrial control systems, SPS/DDC) on the other hand are increasingly becoming indistinct. Therefore, WSCAD electronic GmbH and Data Design System GmbH (DDS) have mutually developed an interface in order to transfer distribution and circuit data from the circuit diagram creation of DDS to WSCAD.

Who is the interface ideal for?

The interface is the ideal interface for planners who would like to create a complete documentation of the electrotechnical building services. Use both software solutions: Work with DDS-CAD as you normally do and transfer information for the distribution plan to WSCAD. The interface does not only reduce the workload but also enables considerable additional saving potential - on both systems.

How does the interface work?

Work with DDS-CAD as usual and configure all information for the power distribution in the electric installation plan as always. In WSCAD you automatically receive the distribution plans resulting from the electric installation plan of DDS-CAD and on this basis you can conveniently and with a high automation level add to the detail planning of the control engineering in WSCAD.
